  Dear Miss Murray,
Good New Year, I hope yours was better than mine, We were sent to XXXXX for the season for special training in XXXXX and XXXXX. It was a tough go, but everyone pulled it together and we did our job. I am just happy to get back with my life. The XXXXX fought hard but we beat them back.
The XXXXX will always remember out names. I assure you that XXXXX had nothing to do with it. What I can tell you is that XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX and that is all I am going to say about that.
How is Conall taking the news of his fathers death? I how he isn't running off to do something stupid. Well, I need to be getting back to work. We will be graduating on the XXXXX at XXXXX. So it you would like to come. Just show up. I understand that the Graduations are not crowded and go very fast. I was told that I will be posted on XXXXX for XXXXX.
  Sincerely,
     SR, John Sinclair

What the hell happened to dad? I just got your message. That he passed. Why was in that community service camp anyways? I paid the crops record fees and taxes.
I am sorry, this is the second time that I have started this letter. I am very upset and I wanted to go home. When I told the captain this she only laughed and said that the ship can turn around its business for a spacer like me.
When I explained why she throw her breakfast tray against the bulk head and headed off deck. I am beginning to think that my captain as cute and commanding that she, is crazy. I hear that she has locked her self in her cabin.
Please send me the details as soon as possible.
I love you guys and tell Darrel he is the man of the house for now.
Conall

Dear Brenna,
Happy New Year, for what it is worth, we had a good party at the apartment. So from what I hear you are the last farm out there. I bet it is lonely. Omar told me to watch yourself. It is dangerous to think that being that far out in the country without good folk around it safe.
  We worry for you.
Sincerely, Diana

We will be nearing Anson’s world sometime tomorrow the whole crew cheered when the captain announced it a lunch. I have been such places like never before.
But first I am sorry that I haven't written in a while. The captain restricted the communications array to just the bridge and then tossed everyone out of there, exempt herself and Scotty. Harry said sometimes we do extra jobs for masters unknown and it will always stay that way.  Last night I thought I heard women walking down the corridor and the sound of the main air lock.
I sometimes wonder about the claims honesty of my captain. We seem to do many things on board that I am not sure are of a legal nature.
Can’t wait for you waves. How are dad and Darrel? How are you for that matter? Are the hills of Sarah freezing up this year? I can't believe it has been 7 weeks since I last wrote you.
Well, I guess that is the life that had been laid out for me. I thought I heard that we left the system and entered the Core. I watched out for days at the emptiness for signs of where we were but all I saw was emptiness.
I hope the farm record had been paid for the last to months. The captain said she would take care of it. For such a small person her commands attention of her crew.
As for me think that I have learned every job on the ship twice. Each day I am sent to another compartment and told of a problem and given one hour to figure it out. I got stuck in life support on a problem and Harry made me stay there until I figured it out. I missed lunch and dinner. But he was right a man must do what a man must do. If we run ourselves out of life support we are dead.
I should be able to get my first letter tomorrow. Captain says that we will be there by mid afternoon.
  Your son, Conall
